Aruba Water Temperature

Aruba is famous for its beaches, constant sunshine and hospitality. This small island in the Caribbean experiences rare rain showers and rarer hurricanes. The now independent island was discovered by the Spanish and controlled by the Dutch until 1986.

Aruba has enough beach related activities for the sun worshiper but the main cities of Oranjestad and San Nicholas are worth the visit for their Dutch style architecture in addition to museums, national parks, other tourist and night spots and clubs.

This happy island, considered to be the diving capital of the Caribbean, can be visited throughout the year. Aruba is well connected with flights and cruise ships bringing in visitors. Inland travel is comfortable and easy with the availability of public transport and rental cars.

The period from January to March is the main tourist season with people from colder regions seeking the warm climate of the tropics. Aruba has a steady inflow of visitors between April to September.
