Attractions in Puerto Vallarta

The Malecon, a broad sculpture-lined promenade edges the sea around the bay. It links the old town with the new. From it you can watch Pelicans feed and the locals swim and fish. Sit at a beach cafe, enjoy guacamole, barbequed prawns on skewers and a bucket of ice-cold beer while watching the hawkers promenade past selling everything from silver jewellery to straw bags. Musicians will serenade you for a coin.
