One of the most visited places in the state of Oregon is the Lake Tahoe, which is considered one of the deepest lakes in the world. During the month of April, its temperature reaches to 74°F, which is acceptable to the human body in terms of coldness. So, it is good to enjoy this lake around March to May and September to November.


But there are times that the temperature of this lake may go below as much as 5°F. Definitely, it is very cold but the Lake is not frozen because the human body can only accept water temperatures at least 70°F. Inland, many diversified specie of animals and plants reside and grow because the land suited for vegetation that attracts more tourists to visit.

During the warm months of the Lake, tourists can enjoy several outdoor activities such as boating, cruising, biking, hiking, and even climbing up to Mount Tall-ac. These outdoor activities will be ideal to enjoy due to the warm weather. Furthermore, this area can be traveled by car, by train or by plain.

Tourists can reach Lake Tahoe by plane around 4 hours from San Francisco, 3 hours from Oakland and 2 hours from Sacramento through reaching Reno/Tahoe International Airport. Most of the people travel by car especially for first-time visitors.
