If you are looking for a truly grand experience, look no further than the majestic Great Lakes. One of the most fascinating facts about the Great lakes is that it forms a border between America and Canada. This makes it one of the largest bodies of fresh water and an invaluable natural resource. The area has some amazing beaches that may be too cold to swim in for most of the year, but you will still find surfing fanatics out there all year round. The lake is big enough to make you feel like you are swimming in the ocean, but you won't have to put up with the salt or stings from the jellyfish.
The best way to get to the Great Lakes area is probably by taking a flight to the O Hare International airport. There after you can take a taxi cab while sight seeing. If you would like to enjoy the sights that the lake has to offer, you can gladly rent a boat and explore the crystal clear waters of the lake. The best time to visit would no doubt be during summer time. There is more you can do when your teeth are not chattering.
